Vintage Sewing Patterns Before and After

One of my favorite things about selling vintage sewing patterns on Etsy is when a customer sends me a picture of the finished product. I marvel at the talented seamstresses on Etsy and how they can update a vintage style with creative thinking and fun fabrics. Take a look at these stellar creations. 1. Love this! I just had someone send me a photo of an apron from a pattern she bought from me. It's so great to see that the patterns are being used and that folks are making them their own (the beauty of home sewing!). Thanks for sharing!

  2. How nice of them to send these AMAZING photos to you. I had a customer just the other day buy 3 gorgeous patterns and she said she would send me photos when the gowns are completed. I hope so because it is always nice to see these patterns come to life!

  3. What a great idea. The illustrations on many of these old patterns are wonderful but it is hard to visualize what they will actually look like all sewn up. Thanks for a great post!

  6. Thanks ladies. I always ask customers to send me a pick of the finish pattern, once in a blue moon someone remembers. Definitely a highlight when I do get to see the finished pattern.
